Eric Roche

I heard recently about the death of the guitarist Eric Roche back in September.

I had the great pleasure of attending several of his performances at Acoustic Routes here in Cambridge.

With his old guitar mended with sellotape, full of microphones, pick-ups and sockets and his way to play crossing the arms, using his instrument like an orchestra, he was one of the most amazing guitarist I had the opportunity to see live.

Live recordings can be found on Acoustic Routes website:

A very good tribute CD is also for sale, details on Eric Roche's official website.

My signed copies of his CDs are now 'collector'... and that's bad news.

Oh dear... already 6 months...

I can't believe it has been 6 months since I have written something here... My potential readers might have died of boredom... Nah... I didn't have any readers anyway! :-)

It is just a bit sad that I've restarted this blog with bad news :-(
